About LimmudLink
LimmudLink is a platform connecting Jewish families with trusted tutors for personalized instruction in Torah, Hebrew, Judaic studies, and more. We are committed to protecting your privacy and giving you full control over your personal data.
How to delete your account (signed-in users)
If you have an active account, you can delete it directly from the app:
- Sign in to your LimmudLink account
- Navigate to Settings
- Scroll to the Danger Zone section
- Click Delete Account
- Type your email address to confirm, then click Delete my account
Your account and personal data will be deleted immediately.
Alternative method
If you cannot access your account, email us at privacy@limmudlink.com with the subject line Account Deletion Request. Include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Name, email address, phone number
- Profile photo and bio
- Location (city, state)
- Student profiles you created
- Watchlist
- Notification preferences
- Upcoming session bookings (with refunds where applicable)
What is retained
- Anonymized session records — required for tutor reputation and platform integrity. Your name is removed; the session data is not.
- Payment records — Stripe and tax law require us to retain transaction records for up to 7 years. These records are anonymized and not linked to your name or email after deletion.
- Anonymized reviews — reviews you wrote are retained with your name removed, to preserve accurate tutor ratings.
